marmoleum floor
Marmoleum as light as possible Evelyne Merkx had in mind when designing this marmoleum floor. The grey-white of concrete as used in Japanese architecture, the white of a perfectly plastered wall, the white of pumice as used by herself in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. The ‘natural’ colour of building materials.
It took a lot of experimentation, resulting in a Marmoleum with very little marbling and an almost luminous surface.
